Non- evaluative Hear the Voice of a Child
A Non-Evaluative Hear the Child interview is a form of intervention which is child focused and is an alternative to a formal Voice Of the Child Evaluative Intervention which involves submitting a report to the court. A non-evaluative Hear the Child Report is completed and submitted to agreed upon parties. The report helps parents and legal counsel to consider a child's views in a divorce or separation situation. Because this is a non-evaluative process, I do not give any recommendations or opinions to parties. I also do not complete a Non-Evaluative Hear the Child Report when parties are involved in a court process.
My background for this role is in child development, conflict management, family violence, and family dynamics. Some examples of the critical training and certification that I have for this role is in child interviewing, parent coaching, high conflict personalities, legal studies, and family dynamics.
